Established in 1988 Carlton Fuels has rapidly grown to become one of the largest Independent Distributors of Petroleum Fuels and Lubricants in the UK .  
Today Carlton Fuels maintains its market position by continually evolving with its customers on a social, economic and environmental platform and investing in all areas of its business to ensure a total fuel management solution.
The infrastructure and management of Quality Control is recognised by our ISO 9001 2000 accreditation, (No: 178/93). 		 
 

The company continues to maintain a controlled approach to growth that will broaden our delivery network and maintain a strategic presence in key areas throughout the UK . Examples of this include the opening of new facilities at Immingham, Burnley and Stanlow, the purchase of Port Petroleum, Wigan and Unique Oils, situated in the heart of Cheshire at the newly modernised Bramhall fuel terminal.

 
 

Being independent allows us to procure product from all major refineries at the most competitive price. This flexibility has enabled us to service customers during even the most extreme commercial conditions. An example of this was the Fuel Crisis of 2000. Carlton fuels managed to secure in excess of 2 million litres of road fuel to keep accounts such as Arriva buses, TDG Nexus, Littlewoods and Wincanton, trading.

   
 

Carlton Fuels, with a group turnover of £100 million and a modern fleet of 40 tankers distribute in excess of 500 million litres of petroleum products per annum to a 10,000 strong customer base. The company supplies the full range of distillate fuel oils to the industrial, commercial, agricultural, retail and haulage sectors. These products are supplied for use with heating and process systems, retail and transportation. Carlton Fuels also supplies a range of lubricants and associated products to meet customer needs.
